Instructional and School Programs

This is a sample of a Master Schedule that I updated. I have developed the master schedule since school year 2017-2018. While creating the master schedules, I ensure that time is designated for common planning between grade bands. I also ensure to allocate time for Lead Teacher planning and any mentoring that is required. Staff also have time built into their schedule to allow for the completion of IEPS and to attend SIT meetings.

This is a field trip tracker form that I created to allow staff to communicate the number of students attending field trips and the number that will remain in the building. This allows me to work alongside the school programmer to plan the instructional day. In addition, I support staff with planning and organizing field trips by acquiring invoices and completing the purchasing when applicable.
Supporting Implementation of School, District and Citywide Priorities and Initiatives

As the chair of the Attendance Team, I worked closely with the team members to create the attached documents. Our focus was on improving overall student attendance and reducing chronic absenteeism. These were district and citywide priorities.

As the chair of the SIT Team, I worked closely with the team members to ensure that all applicable students received services that enable them to access the curriculum. In addition, we worked towards reducing the number of referrals to special education and ensuring that all IEPS are completed by the compliance deadline. Attached is a sample rolling agenda, an initial case tracker that allows us to document the number of students being referred for services and the RTI/AIS plan that I led the team to create in 2020-2021.

This artifact is comprised of documents that were utilized as I guided the SLT and the Instructional Leadership Team towards using school data to draft goals and the action plan for the school's CEP.

This artifact is the TAC-D Plan. I led the SIT Team to create this plan to reduce disproportionality among students each year. The team chose to focus on reducing the number of students referred to special education. This was a district and citywide priority.
Administrative Functioning

This artifact includes documents from planned formal observations with teachers. Prior to my meetings with the teachers, I emailed them and included documents that they could use to explain their lesson planning process. Then, I held a pre-observation conference where I provided the teachers with feedback on their lesson. After completing the formal observation of the lesson, I met with the teacher to debrief the lesson and discuss next steps.

This artifact is the application for our Mental Health clinic through Interborough. I guided the SIT team to collect data and use it to complete the application. Ultimately, we were granted the Mental Health Clinic. It has become an important component of our community school.

These are artifacts from some of the OSI and SCI investigations that I have completed. I worked closely with our legal counsel to ensure that staff receive the proper finding after the investigation. For substantiated findings, I drafted the appropriate letters to file.

This artifact is a sample of Core Curriculum Ordering. Along with ordering and certifying curriculum yearly, I also oversee all purchasing in the school. I work closely with the payroll secretary and parent coordinator to ensure that all purchases are certified in a timely manner.
Staff Activities

These are sample agendas that I created for various professional development days for staff from the 2017-2018 school year until present. In addition to actually drafting the agenda, on many occasions I led the planning of the content that would take place such as organizing professional develop vendors or arranging for staff to present workshops.
